Solution:
CEI outfitted this youth-oriented worship space with three Panasonic WXGA projectors and 16:10 screens mounted in an arc behind the stage area. Each projector (along with a flat-screen confidence monitor for the presenters) can be sent video independently utilizing a Kramer matrix switcher in the audio/video control booth. Also housed in the booth as video sources are two Mac computers along with a VCR and a DVD player, which (along with a video input at the stage area) are routed through a Kramer scaler first to match the high resolution of the computers. In-booth monitoring permits a preview of each of the sources before they’re sent to the projectors, affording seamless control of the video system.
